About Me

Hi there! I’m Felipe and I am a UX designer based in Miami, Florida.

Hi! I’m Felipe, a former journalist turned UX designer with a passion for designing user-friendly, impactful solutions residing in Miami, Florida. Currently, I am pursuing a certificate in UX design with a UI specialization in Careerfoundry, a bootcamp in Berlin, Germany.

I designed Olive, a diet and health app that engaged young adults to structure a diet into their lives and helped make it easier to organize their meal times. My skillset includes UX research, wireframing, prototyping, and responsive web design, alongside experience in video editing and designing digital content using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite.

What sets me apart is my ability to bridge creativity with user functionality, ensuring that every design decision meets both user needs and business goals. Whether I’m optimizing workflows or designing for accessibility, I’m driven by a commitment to making technology approachable and inclusive.

UX design is appealing to me because it allows me to blend creativity, analytical thinking, and empathy to solve real-world problems and create impactful solutions. It’s a field where I can channel my passion for design and innovation into crafting experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable for users. The ability to take complex systems and simplify them into meaningful, user-friendly interactions is both challenging and rewarding, offering me the opportunity to make a tangible difference in how people engage with technology and products. Moreover, the iterative nature of UX design encourages continuous learning and adaptation, which keeps the work dynamic and engaging.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me reading, journaling about my life, and spending time with family and friends.
